Sometimes, entering a bookstore or library, we feel disoriented and undecided. What drives us to choose one book over another? Sometimes we're drawn to the cover, and the book chooses us, almost as if it were calling us. Then there are those books we dismiss or don't even notice, but all it takes is for someone to mention them to us, and that book we never thought we'd read takes on meaning and sparks our curiosity.
