The Library System”Monte Linas” proposes the twentieth edition of our now historic literary competition reserved for children and young people of primary and secondary schools of the municipalities participating in the System.

This year the title is “Do you know the latest?”

Yes, we are talking about jokes!

Jokes have ancient origins, dating back to the time before Christ, and are a tool with a powerful social function: bringing people together, promoting good humor, eliminating stress, and making evenings and gatherings with friends more enjoyable.

There are millions of jokes: short, long, classic, or very current, from those about Pierino to those about animals, the police, doctors, and even saints, to laugh at everything and everyone!

Joke books are always in high demand in libraries, especially among children and young people, and on the occasion of the 20th edition of the literary competition for young authors promoted by the Library System Monte LinasWe thought we'd stimulate the creativity of our energetic students and invite them to try their hand at the fun "art" of making people laugh. We're sure it will spark laughter in the classroom and provide a chance to spend some carefree, fun time.

Participating schools will receive, as per the regulations, a set of children's books for their school libraries.
