Mothers, daughters, and wives, courageous and stubborn, proud and determined. They traveled on foot, barefoot, along routes carved out of rugged and rugged country paths, carrying baskets laden with pots and pans on their heads, maintaining a steady and proud stance, marketing their artifacts with great dignity and resourcefulness. These are the women whom the documentary exhibition at the Pabillonis Library aims to honor with a rich display of testimonies, interviews, and biographies during Open Monuments.

We look forward to seeing you in Pabillonis, a Campidano town famous throughout Sardinia for its production of "is pingiadas"
