The history of the library
The Guspini Municipal Library, named after the Sardinian writer Sergio Atzeni, is located in the rooms above the Municipal Market. It overlooks Piazza XX Settembre, where the Church of San Nicolò Vescovo, a 17th-century Catalan Gothic building, stands. The completely renovated and restored building contains approximately 30.000 items. It features a media library, a newspaper library, and seven internet terminals for users.
