Sardara Municipal Library

The history of the library

The Sardara municipal library has been open since 1982 and currently occupies part of the first floor of the former elementary school on Via Manzoni, a historic building constructed in the 1920s that also houses a playroom, several municipal offices, and volunteer offices.

The interior spaces consist of a reception area and two rooms, one of which is multipurpose and often used for book presentations, cultural activities, and film screenings. There are also three internet stations for guest use.

The collection consists of approximately 16.000 volumes and 1000 multimedia works, constantly updated with new materials.
